This is an exchange group that meets once in October and once in April for a pot luck hopefully at the home of a member and occasionally at Timeless. We bring enough of a designated block to exchange with all members. We also pick out at that meeting the kind and size of block we'd like to make and exchange at the next meeting.
For the next meeting in October 2008 at Timeless , we are to bring 9 1/2" unfinished blocks of houses in Thimbleberries type (country) fabrics using only cream lights, not white and no brights. They are to be any house pattern-pieced and are to be made of high quality fabrics with the blocks being accurate to the size. We're also bring 20 charms- 6" squares cut of high quality cotton fabrics of your choice. The colors are up to each member. We will meet at 5:30ish with a potluck dish. If you'd like to join in, please contact Earlene at Timeless at ph no. 406-542-6566.
In the past we've done appliqued blocks with hats, Christmas blocks, blue and white stars, black and white Lady of the Lake, red and white pieced, a spring floral, a maple leaf, civil war period blocks, batik blocks, and Aunt Gracie's.
